Shared Services Manager
Location Lancaster, SC
Role Impact As a strategic leader within the finance function, the Shared Services Manager ensures seamless financial operations that impact both internal and external stakeholders. This role supports revenue recognition, compliance, and financial integrity across billing, collections, vendor payments, and tax support. Precision, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities Lead billing and collection activities; ensure accurate invoicing and prompt payments Supervise vendor invoice processing; maintain timely accounts payable operations Manage payment card systems; reconcile cash clearing accounts Coordinate pricing structure changes with Sales, IT, and Customer Service Administer vendor master data in partnership with Procurement Prepare annual 1099 forms and sales tax filings with Corporate Accounting Resolve order and payment processing issues efficiently Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing process improvements Uphold financial compliance across travel and expense reimbursement policies Mentor and develop finance team members Support finance initiatives and cross-functional projects
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field 10+ years in accounting operations (AP/AR/treasury); 4+ years in supervisory roles ERP system proficiency required; SAP preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in cross-functional settings
Core Tools & Systems ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Payment gateways, merchant accounts, reconciliation tools Sales tax and 1099 preparation software Workflow automation and document management platforms
Preferred Skills SAP implementation or optimization experience Experience in merchant account administration Cross-functional project leadership in finance transformation
