The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the EPS program at Langley AFB, VA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the cyber security mission of Distributed Ground System-Experimental (DGS-X) information systems (IS) and networks, including the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) legacy and Open Architecture (OA) enterprise.
  2. Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs).
  3. Coordinate with ISSM and DAOs to ensure systems obtain and maintain accreditation.
  4. Apply continuous monitoring techniques to evaluate system security posture.
  5. Implement security policies, practices, and procedures.
  6. Utilize NIST Security Controls and Control Implementation methodologies during the A&A process.
  7. Complete security controls implementation, self-assessment tests, security test plans, and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
  8. Review audit logs.
  9. Perform data transfers.
  10. Host and support Security Controls Assessors (SCA) during remote A&A events at worldwide DCGS sites.
  11. Approve account creation requests, ensuring proper documentation and certifications, with annual verification.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • 7+ years of experience and a Bachelors Degree or higher in computer engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years as an ISSO on similar scope programs.
  • DoD Directive 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent); CASP or GSLC preferred.
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas:

    • Xacta 360 and Xacta.io GRC software
    • Hardware/software security implementation, including STIGs, SCAP, Evaluate-STIG, ACAS/Nessus
    • Air Force Intelligence Community policies, plans, and procedures
    • Encryption techniques/tools


Desired:

  • Experience with RMF Policy compliance and DoD Cybersecurity policies (NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53 Rev 5)
  • Assessment and compliance activities using Xacta 360
  • System hardening and availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality
  • Developing and maintaining SSP
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication
  • Knowledge of security policies within the Intelligence Community

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Candidates may be considered for other roles within CACI.

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range is: $90,300 - $189,600.
