The Afterschool Enrichment Coordinator is the primary deputy to the Associate Director of TVT Enrichment Programs and supports the daily management of and execution of programs.

TVT Community Day School, a thriving TK-12 school of almost 800 students in beautiful Orange County, is seeking an After School Enrichment Coordinator. The Afterschool Enrichment Coordinator is the primary deputy to the Associate Director of TVT Enrichment Programs and supports the daily management of and execution of programs.
Located across the street from UC Irvine, TVT is very much a school on the make. We've recently completed a $60 million-dollar campus remodel and expansion, and for the past several years, Niche rankings rated TVT as the #1 Jewish School in the country while also placing us in the top 1% of all private K-12 schools nationally.

The ideal candidate for this position at TVT will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with excellent organization skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Responsibilites

  • Support the management of TVT afterschool programs.
  • Execute established procedures for student pick-up and drop-off from the regular day to
  • Support instructional needs, materials acquisition, materials management and other concerns to support Afterschool teachers.
  • Execute established procedures and support for TVT Enrichment staff and instructors.
  • In the absence of the Director of TVT Enrichment Programs, serve in that persons capacity during programming.
  • Serve as a permanent substitute teacher for programs.
  • Assist in the management of on-line registration and payment procedures for Afterschool Innovation courses and Extended Day programming.
  • Execute established procedures for student dismissal from the TVT Enrichment programs at the end of the day.
  • Assist enrichment program staff with student behavior issues and help with ongoing communication with parents about such issues.
Required On Campus Time will be du ring programming:
  • Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Friday 2:00 pm - 5:00pm
Qualifications
Qualifications (preferred):
  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant teaching experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Ability to address performance, behavior, and instructional issues professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to proactively solve issues with staffing, parent complaints, student behavior, and dismissal.
Hiring Range
$20 per hour - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
