Your main tasks and responsibilities: Ability to measure in both metric and imperial.Follows program instructions, diagrams for setting fixtures, outlining tooling and sequence of operations for setup.Makes needed adjustments to equipment.Loads, unloads parts to and from machine and maintains appropriate monitoring of operations to assure proper machine functioning to finish parts.Assists in maintaining and servicing of equipment as directed.Ensure components are cosmetically acceptable; ensure that dimensions meet customer requirements from process sheets and blueprints.Use various hand tools and/or overhead hoist as required.Check blueprints to verify machining dimensions.Conduct minor preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled.Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements.Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures etc.Report discrepancies to the Planner or Team Leader.Complete minor troubleshooting as required.Complete and maintain paperwork.Check machine for defects and repair if necessaryLift work piece manually, by forklift or by overhead crane, positions and secures against guides and stops.Maintains a clean work area, including his equipment, work supplies and materials.To succeed in this role, you will need: Required: 2-3 years' experience in assembly or related Industrial experienceDesired: High School Degree or GED Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skillsUnderstand and follow oral and written instructionsForklift or Crane license considered an assetAbility to read and interpret production and sales orders.Experience in safe use, storage and disposal of metal chips & cleaning the work area etc.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations pertaining to occupational safety, health, and air pollution control.Experienced in using power and hand toolsMeticulous and detail orientedAble to lift 50 pounds unassistedAble to work independentlyHighly self-motivatedWhat we offer you: Competitive Paid Time Off (3 weeks to start)12 Company Paid Holidays per yearAnnual Bonus ProgramFull Medical, Dental, and Vision benefitsCompany Paid Short Term and Long Term Disability, Company Paid Life Insurance6% 401K or Roth Company Match with Immediate VestingCompany Paid Retirement Security Contributions following 1 year of employmentTuition Reimbursement/Educational AssistanceQuarterly Gym ReimbursementDo you have a question about the role?
