Our Information and Communication Technology Group (ICT), in either our Charlotte , NC office , is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Consultant with systems design experience, focusing on Audio Visual and Telecom trades. This role supports the engineering of systems for various projects, working closely with clients, architects, and engineers across sectors including Critical Facilities, Corporate Interiors, Sports & Entertainment, Healthcare, Airports, and Educational Facilities nationwide. Experience in Aviation ICT is preferred. Job Responsibilities As a Senior Technology Systems Consultant, you will support design efforts across projects, performing calculations, layout, and coordination with other trades. You will develop system designs using CAD/BIM, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under senior guidance. Additional Responsibilities: Create basic to complex system designs with minimal supervision, developing specifications, narratives, and layouts. Conduct field inspections, assist in technical report preparation, and support project feasibility and gap analysis. Establish system application and operational parameters under senior guidance. Understand network connectivity, LAN, WAN, WiFi infrastructure, and participate in QA/QC processes. Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and construction administration tasks. Coordinate with internal teams and external clients, representing Syska Hennessy Group professionally. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical discipline or relevant experience. 8+ years in audiovisual and Telecom design, with experience in critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, and other sectors. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of network systems, structured cabling, Wi-Fi, and telephony design. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit preferred. ICT certifications (e.g., PSP, CTS, RCDD, CCNA, PMP) required.
