Ken Garff Automotive Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner who aligns with our core values: respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. This role manages all local HR activities for the assigned dealership(s), supporting HR strategies, policies, and practices that drive positive business results. It also champions positive employee experiences, fosters engagement through our Champions and company brand programs, facilitates training via corporate partners, and influences managers to proactively manage employee retention and performance.

Knowledge of interviewing and selecting top talent

Proven credibility as a Human Resources expert

At least 2-4 years of HR generalist/manager experience, preferably in large or retail environments with hourly and salary employees

Workday experience or similar HRIS systems is a plus

What you’ll do as a Human Resources Manager:

Partner with GMs and managers to influence KPIs, recognition, and career development

Manage HR activities across 3 dealerships in the Camarillo, Oxnard, and Santa Barbara areas, with travel required

Align dealership culture and performance with Ken Garff’s values and policies

Review turnover metrics and assist in retention strategies

Lead data and analytics efforts to influence managerial decisions

Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies

Facilitate culture and onboarding training programs

Manage benefits questions, onboarding, and leave processes

Coordinate Ken Garff Onramp (KGO) program and follow up with new hires
