Monday, May 19, 2025 at 4:00 AM Job Responsibilities: Develop, support, maintain, and revise Revenue Cycle technical solutions, including HL7, EDI, APIs, claims, payments, reports, and database needs across financial, revenue cycle, and third-party systems supporting Marshall Health and affiliated organizations. Support patient accounting systems, including claims transmission, remits, statements, payment posting, patient balances, and aging processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to revenue cycle and IT support systems. Monitor system activities and performance, escalating issues as appropriate to ensure effective resolution. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to provide revenue cycle analysis and generate reports for financial and payer performance evaluations. Participate in planning and executing system installations, upgrades, and process improvements. Assist in developing training materials and support programs for business office staff. Implement IT and Revenue Cycle policies and procedures as needed. Perform additional projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of patient financial, claim, and billing workflows within healthcare revenue cycle management. Proficient in databases, scripting, programming, and electronic interfaces. Ability to interpret Electronic Remittance Files (835/837) and ANSI x12. Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working under pressure in a dynamic environment. Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred. Experience:
3-5 years of IT support experience in healthcare billing or related roles required. Healthcare revenue cycle experience, especially with ProFit, Cerner Millennium, or CPM, is highly desirable. Additional:
