Set up Layer 1 & 2 Protocols (Spanning-Tree modes and modifications, Trunking, MLAG/VPC) Perform automated tooling and configuration Deploy multi-tenant & multi-data-center networks Deploy & maintain large-scale Layer 2 & 3 Data Center Networks Skills and Experience Required:
Required: 10 to 20 years' experience in networking Meticulous documentation & task/time management skills Practical knowledge of industry-standard network/security best practices & solutions Excellent diagnostic skills in troubleshooting complex networking technologies across all OSI layers Experience with multi-tenant & multi-data-center deployments Experience in deploying & maintaining large-scale Layer 2 & 3 Data Center Networks Data Center Fabric deployment types (Classic Ethernet, FabricPath, VxLAN, EVPN) Layer 1 & 2 Protocols (Spanning-Tree modes and modifications, Trunking, MLAG/VPC) Layer 3 Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network routing techniques Expertise in tuning and diagnosing dynamic routing protocols for complex route manipulation Designing/deploying/maintaining highly available underlay & overlay networks & security constructs (VxLAN, eVPN, VRFs) Provisioning, protecting, and maintaining internet peering points, public IP management, and DDoS services Data Center fabric (switching/routing) migration experience Experience with carrier-based MPLS and WAN deployments Experience with Cisco (IOS/XE/XR & NXOS) data center router/switch platforms Experience with Arista (EOS) data center switch platforms Understanding of PCI/DSS controls, protections & best practices Experience with protocols/functions: IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, VLANs, MPLS, IPSEC, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VxLAN, RPKI, eVPN, VRRP, MLAG, VPC, STP, Anycast, IPSEC, SSL, TLS Must be a US citizen residing in the US (for security clearances) Desired Skills:
Experience with VMWare platforms and networking (VMotion, HCX, FXRails, VxRails) Experience with automation tools, scripting, and configuration templating (GitLab, Python, Jinja, Netbox, vendor APIs) Recruiter Submission Template:
