Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the architecture, design, support, implementation, and preventive maintenance of the firm's server and storage infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud solutions. The role also ensures the integrity and availability of all firm data. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, maintain, upgrade, monitor server and data storage infrastructure across all firm offices, data centers, and Microsoft Azure, including Windows Server 2016/2012, Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and related systems. Manage and maintain Microsoft and Azure Active Directory. Design, implement, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, and other systems in a hybrid environment. Manage and maintain VMware environment. Manage and maintain Citrix VDI environment. Monitor server/storage utilization and capacity, recommending upgrades as needed. Work with the team to upgrade and patch servers for security. Respond to system and end-user issues as part of the infrastructure team. Collaborate with Applications teams as necessary. Maintain current documentation of topology and procedures. Position Specific Skills and Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience designing and evaluating server solutions in a global network environment. Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, MDM, etc. At least 3 years experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure administration. Over 5 years experience with VMware ESX environment, including SRM. Experience with self-signed and external Certificates. Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Citrix NetScaler. Experience with server management applications, such as Microsoft SCOM (a plus). Experience with server backup applications. Scripting skills, particularly PowerShell. Excellent communication and project management skills. Education and General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required. Advanced or current Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred. Attributes include responsibility, honesty, reliability, initiative, patience, attention to detail, determination, pride in work, and a desire to learn. Strong interpersonal skills for working within the Information Systems team and with external parties. Ability to meet deadlines and complete operational and project tasks effectively. Effective communication skills, both written and in person. Ability to work independently. Travel Requirements:
