JOB SUMMARY
Position Title: Customer Service Specialist
Program: WIC/Health and Nutrition
Classification: Non-Exempt/Full Time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Call Center: Answer incoming calls using multi-line phone system and respond to all voicemail messages Schedule participant appointments for all clinics Process online applications and referrals from community partners Provide referrals to community resources Reception Area:
Greet clients arriving for appointments and completing the check-in process Issue electronic benefits to participants Maintain proficiency in breastfeeding curriculum and promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment in all clinics Income Eligibility:
Check for adjunct eligibility in statewide database Verify household income and determine eligibility Lab:
Perform anthropometric and hematological measurements by standard procedure Observe universal precautions and comply with all OSHA standards Other Duties as assigned including flexible clinic assignments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required WIC experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Competent word processing and computer skills Desire to participate in and promote a trauma-informed empowering culture that celebrates diversity. **Please see attached for full job description**
