Position Overview The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas inside buildings or multiple client sites. Tasks may vary and require flexibility to meet client specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Empty and clean waste containers and remove garbage from premises
Clean ash trays, monitor and replenish sand supplies
Dust all wall hangings, frames, and charts
Dust ceiling diffusers, air vents, and ventilating louvers
Vacuum mats and carpeted areas
Clean office furnishings, fixtures, and flat surfaces
Clean and polish metal fixtures and hardware
Maintain tile floors and glass furnishings
Clean entry door glass and remove stains from vertical surfaces
Clean, sterilize, and restock bathrooms
Sweep stairways and clean floors
Qualifications Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Minimum of 6 months experience in janitorial work
