About the Role: An established ethanol production facility near Le Mars is seeking a Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical (I/E) Technician to support plant reliability, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role working on industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant electrical systems (including 120/240/480V) Calibrate and repair instruments, analyzers, and process control equipment Interpret schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to perform work safely and accurately Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime Perform preventive maintenance and support root cause analysis Ensure compliance with electrical codes and plant safety standards Qualifications: 2+ years of industrial I/E maintenance experience (ethanol, chemical, or manufacturing preferred) Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and hot/cold environments Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred but Not Required: Journeyman electrician license in Iowa or ability to obtain Experience with Allen-Bradley systems and DeltaV or similar DCS platforms Technical diploma or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field What’s Offered: $40+ an hour & shift differentials 100% Employer Covered benefits package (medical, dental) 401(K) matching with immediate vesting Stable plant with strong safety culture and room for advancement Relocation assistance available for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr
