Quality Custom Distribution is seeking CDL A Drivers to work out of our Franklin Park Location

This is 100% touch freight delivery, must be able to complete all task All trucks are equipped with left gates, dollies, pallet jacks Union position 4 days on 3 days off (Working weekends are Mandatory) Start times are between 1pm - 4pm, 10-to-14-hour shifts. We cover all of Chicago to include downtown, as far north as Green Bay, Wisc. 10-15 stops per day $37.95/hr. weekdays, $39.95/weekends 5th and 6th day hourly premium 12.65/hr. Driver average 40 to 50 hours a week. 1 year of recent active CDL A experience. Having Food delivery experience is a plus Responsibilities
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from QCD plant to local Starbuck stores. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations
