Base Pay Range $40.00/hr - $65.00/hr Job Title & Benefits HVAC/R Service Technician — Up to $65/hr, 40 hours per week, company vehicle, 401(k) with company match. About the Company A highly respected and well-established mechanical contractor based in Texas, specializing in HVAC, refrigeration, controls, and plumbing services. The company serves a wide range of commercial and industrial clients, and is known for its reputation of quality workmanship and strong, long-term client relationships. About the Role We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join the team. This role involves providing both preventive maintenance and responsive repair services for commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The technician will work across a diverse portfolio of facilities, including schools, universities, office buildings, hospitals, and manufacturing sites. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including RTUs, AHUs, VRF, VAV, and chillers Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and improve system performance Troubleshoot and repair air‑cooled, water‑cooled, centrifugal, and screw chillers Work with refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging in compliance with EPA guidelines Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to diagnose faults and recommend solutions Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to report service outcomes and recommend further actions Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent via digital work order systems Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures on all job sites Stay up to date with product training and emerging HVAC/R technologies Key Qualifications Associate degree in HVAC/R technology or related technical discipline EPA 608 Certification (Universal) required 5+ years of experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Strong hands‑on experience with air‑cooled, centrifugal, and screw chillers Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset How to Apply If this sounds like the role for you, don’t hesitate to apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
