BrightStars helps families in Rhode Island access QUALITY child care, early learning, and school-age programs. We help child care providers learn about best practices in early learning and apply them to the care children receive. We recognize program quality and give parents information to make choices about their children’s care and education. Program: Littletrax Early Learning Center Address: 15 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914 Position: Teacher Position Description: Work closely with the Center's Director, Ed Coordinator, teachers, and staff to create learning plans and programs that meet state and federal requirements, as well as families' expectations. Manage the classroom, create a safe, healthy, and clean environment. Set up classroom activities in partnership with the teaching assistant(s) to promote a fun and positive environment. Market the facility by working with the Director to promote awareness of the facility and services. Meet with parents and staff to stay updated on children's development and progress, including discussing ways to address any learning or behavior concerns.
