Electrical Battery Field Technician - UPS / ATS / Generators / Switchgear / Transformers The Electrical Battery Field Technician supports all phases of project life cycles with a focus on onsite coordination, equipment testing, and project scheduling. Working cross-functionally with Service, Project Management, Accounting, Logistics, and Estimating teams, this role ensures successful execution of field operations and high-quality installations in compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors. Conduct site visits, review electrical plans, and assist in estimate development. Supervise equipment installation, startup, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST). Perform commissioning and testing, maintenance on critical power systems: UPSs, ATSs, PDUs, generators, batteries, transformers, switchgear, and related. Ensure safety and compliance during all onsite activities. Support administrative and logistical functions, including documentation and reporting. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of related electrical experience. Strong understanding of project management, electrical systems, and equipment testing procedures. Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel. Must pass background and driving record checks. Strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in fast-paced environments. Effective communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Technically adept and committed to ongoing learning.
