About The Role We’re a mission‑driven eyewear startup expanding access to affordable, stylish eyewear and vision care in underserved communities. We’re looking for an outgoing, community‑oriented Outreach Specialist with strong sales or grassroots experience to help grow our presence, build partnerships, and engage potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead community outreach to increase brand and service awareness
Build relationships with local organizations and community partners
Represent the company at health fairs, pop‑ups, and local events
Engage attendees and convert interest into sales or eye exam appointments
Support mobile events, screenings, and ambassador recruitment
Distribute marketing materials and report outreach insights
Qualifications
5+ years in outreach, sales, or community engagement
Excellent communication and ability to connect with diverse communities
Consultative or relationship‑based sales experience preferred
Familiarity with Boston neighborhoods is a plus
Bilingual strongly preferred (Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian)
Able to work some evenings/weekends
