About the Role We are looking for a RF Design and Test Engineer to help support hardware integration and testing of custom GNSS receivers built by oneNav. The HW team delivers compact prototype systems and modules for ruggedized high-performance GNSS solutions, utilizing oneNav’s custom silicon. As a member of a small group of highly experienced RF, Digital HW, and GNSS software developers you’ll meet exciting challenges and provide high-impact solutions to various internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

Designing RF/microwave circuits and systems integrating oneNav’s custom silicon GNSS receiver

Designing experiments to analyze and improve receiver sensitivity and interference immunity

Designing test and customer evaluation PCBs

Performing various tests of receiver hardware (both RF and digital)

Configuration and operation of test equipment

Writing automation software (scripts) using test hardware APIs

Debugging/Bringup of RF/analog and mixed signal hardware

Required Qualifications

BS in EE, CS, or equivalent

3+ years of RF Hardware R&D Engineer experience

3+ years of Python programming language

Solid experience with lab equipment, RF Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes, etc.

Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills and Customer-orientation

Ability to think independently while also being a solid team player

Preferred qualifications

MSEE

Altium or similar schematic capture and layout EDA tool

Knowledge of RF receiver impairments (phase noise, nonlinearity, IQ imbalance etc)

Solid knowledge of Python, matlab or C/C++ programming Knowledge of Xilinx FPGA development tools (XSDK, Vitis).

Integration experience of high volume RF/microwave or similar high-speed mixed-signal silicon.

R&D or prototype development of PCBs for high-volume mobile wireless, wearables, and IoT applications

Experience with GNSS receiver technology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
