Physician - Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, Per Diem/Casual Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (HDVCH)

is seeking board certified or board eligible child & adolescent psychiatrists on a per diem basis to support our new pediatric medical psychiatry unit. This new 12‑bed unit will be the first of its kind in Michigan.

Coverage Opportunities

Onsite Saturday & Sunday pediatric medical psychiatric unit coverage – admissions and rounding on current patients

Offsite weekly overnight call coverage

For child psychiatrists outside of our local area, we provide support with travel and accommodations.

Qualifications

MD/DO

Board Certified (BC) Psychiatry

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (BC/BE)

Full license in the State of Michigan or ability to obtain

Required Licensure: MD or DO state of Michigan upon hire

DEA Registration upon hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required by specialty or stress test performed (120 days)
