About the Role
Find job satisfaction and career growth with TeamHealth as a full‑time hospitalist at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood, a family‑friendly community in Brownwood, Texas. You will be a key member of our hospital medicine team and serve as the quarterback for inpatient care, working collaboratively with specialists and nursing staff.
We offer a block schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired. Strong compensation and benefits packages are offered, and a sign‑on incentive is available for qualified clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the quarterback for inpatient care, collaborating with specialists and nursing staff.
Provide high‑level patient care and anticipate patient needs.
Run codes confidently and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
Internal medicine trained physician.
Passionate about hospital medicine.
Experience caring for patients in a mid‑size community hospital of 180+ beds with an open ICU.
Confidence in running codes.
