Job Details Our dynamic financial firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced tax professional to contribute their expertise to our growing firm. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in Tax Review and Client-Facing skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire tax process, including planning, preparation, and compliance.
Conduct comprehensive tax research to ensure the company’s compliance with all tax regulations and to identify opportunities for tax savings.
Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Provide expert guidance on tax matters to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes effectively to the team and clients.
Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any issues or queries.
Evaluate the tax impact of company decisions and transactions, providing strategic recommendations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Active CPA license is required.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry is required.
Outstanding client service and communication skills.
Experience and willingness to coach and mentor others.
Not industry specific, but more experience with C‑Corp and Pass‑Through Entity will be helpful.
Experience with Construction or Manufacturing industries is a plus.
