Job Summary
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is recruiting an academic gastroenterologist to join us. This position offers opportunities for clinical scholars in general gastroenterology and major subspecialty areas including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy, and intestinal failure. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree), board certified or eligible in gastroenterology, with a strong commitment to patient care and teaching. Opportunities exist for individuals of all experience levels and various clinical interests.
Responsibilities Clinical care in general gastroenterology and subspecialty areas, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy, and intestinal failure. Outreach to smaller communities and rural areas, telehealth, and active participation in clinical research.
