Facilities & Workplace Supervisor Pay Rate:
$35–$40 per hour Job Type:
Contract (6 months)
Position Overview The Facilities & Workplace Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workplace operations and ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming office environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining facility standards, coordinating vendors, and supporting employees and guests by delivering an exceptional workplace experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
Oversee building security, safety procedures, and emergency response readiness
Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace‑related requests and concerns
Supervise external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of work
Coordinate office setup and breakdown for internal meetings, events, and company programs
Provide front desk and concierge‑style support, including greeting visitors and managing meeting logistics
Support employee onboarding, office moves, and offboarding processes
Track and manage service requests and tickets to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, kitchen amenities, and workplace materials
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintain common areas, conference rooms, kitchens, and restrooms to high standards
Provide regular project and site status updates to leadership
Support emergency response activities and assist with training as needed (CPR certification a plus)
Utilize Google Suite tools to manage documentation and communication
Safely lift and move items weighing 50 lbs. or more as required
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in customer service or employee‑facing support roles
2+ years of experience in facilities or workplace operations
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving work environment
