is hiring a hands‑on Enterprise Architect with deep experience in the Microsoft Azure and .NET ecosystem to drive the modernization, scalability, and evolution of our product suite. You’ll lead by doing — designing distributed architectures, writing code when it matters, and guiding teams through complex technical transformations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering execution and architectural vision.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and build scalable, cloud‑native applications and services on Microsoft Azure, leveraging modern .NET technologies.
Partner with product and engineering teams to translate functional requirements into secure, high‑performing technical designs.
Lead modernization efforts — including monolith decomposition, migration to Azure services, and adoption of microservices or event‑driven architectures.
Design and implement integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, API Management, and related technologies.
Develop and evaluate proofs of concept for new frameworks, cloud patterns, or data solutions.
Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and CI/CD best practices using Azure DevOps.
Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and performance assessments across multiple product teams.
Provide hands‑on mentorship — coaching engineers in software craftsmanship, design principles, and secure coding practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability across environments.
Stay current with Azure innovations, .NET platform updates, and emerging architecture trends, and recommend adoption strategies.
Technical Requirements
Education: MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Architecture: Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale applications in .NET, including both greenfield and modernization projects.
Programming: Expert‑level proficiency in C#, .NET 6 (or .NET Core), and related frameworks.
Cloud: Deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Event Hub, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and API Management.
Security: Familiar with Azure AD, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure coding practices aligned to industry standards.
DevOps: Skilled in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and release automation.
Patterns & Principles: Solid understanding of SOLID principles, DDD, dependency injection, microservices design, and event‑driven architecture.
