Job Description As a Technology Consultant you will provide technical expertise in pre‑sales activities for a specific range of products within a defined region to help grow the Software & Control Business. You support our sellers in conversations with customers about our solutions and bring deep application, industry, product, or solution knowledge of automation control systems.
Your Responsibilities
Partner with the sales team to promote the product range to existing and new customers; update customers on new products and technology related to their industry and application.
Participate in trade shows, seminars, and similar marketing activities; offer demonstrations to customers.
Support market access (distributors and system integrators) in conveying the value of our products and technology; support the launch of new products to the sales teams and channel.
Validate and resolve product compatibility issues within architectural solutions and provide guidance to customers.
Use domain expertise as a resource for internal partners and advise customers on our products, solutions, and services.
Analyze competitive products, understand competitor strategies, and define competitive differentiators.
Understand business models, organization, and go‑to‑market strategy, and leverage where appropriate.

The Essentials – You Will Have
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Legal authorization to work in Canada. We will not sponsor employment visas for this opening.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time to customers.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Knowledge of Rockwell’s Controller & I/O Hardware Platforms, Network Hardware & Topologies, Server Infrastructure, and Software Portfolio (e.g., FactoryTalk View SE).
Familiarity with outcome‑based selling.
Knowledge of industry strategies.
Demonstrated technical expertise in automation design and control.
