$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from FORTIS Resource Partners The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company’s restaurants, which include leading a portion of the accounting team, producing monthly financial statements for multiple cost centers, and maintaining financial reports. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive accounting records and a set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing the month-end close process and ensuring accurate and meaningful financial reporting is provided to executive management on a timely basis. Works with the team on other accounting activities, including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, managing day-to-day banking relationships, and other local vendor relationships. Participate in the development and coordination of a best-in-class financial accounting organization that will support the company's long-term growth strategy Preparing monthly internal financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and analyzing and communicating cash funding needs, with an emphasis on cash forecasting. Responsible for oversight of expenditures, including reviewing, tracking, and reporting detailed expenses on a monthly basis. Prepare internal analyses to support internal and external reporting requirements Perform ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed Provide schedules to the tax accounting firm for federal and state tax returns REQUIREMENTS
