Senior Generative AI Engineer — New York (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

A fast-growing organization is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Generative AI Engineer
to design, build, and scale next-generation AI-driven products. This is a hands‑on role for someone who has already built and shipped a production-grade generative AI product and can operate with significant ownership.
What You’ll Do
Architect, develop, and deploy generative AI systems (LLMs, multimodal models, agents, or similar).
Own the full model lifecycle—including experimentation, fine‑tuning, evaluation, optimization, and production deployment.
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to help shape AI strategy and roadmap.
Build scalable data pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and monitoring systems.
Identify new techniques, frameworks, and tooling in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
What We’re Looking For
5–8 years
of industry experience, with
significant hands‑on work in applied generative AI .
Demonstrated experience
building and shipping a generative AI product
end‑to‑end.
Expertise in
Python , transformer architectures, embeddings, fine‑tuning, retrieval systems, and modern AI frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps practices.
Strong understanding of model evaluation, safety, and robustness.
Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑ownership environment.
Must be a U.S. Green Card holder or Permanent Resident.
Location & Schedule
Based in
New York City .
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote .
Compensation
