What You’ll Do As an HVAC Sales Engineer, you will:

Serve as a trusted advisor

to clients, leveraging your mechanical/HVAC knowledge to deliver tailored solutions.

Collaborate cross‑functionally

with technicians, engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless execution.

Drive growth

by identifying opportunities, developing strategic plans, and closing deals that align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development (40%)

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in commercial and institutional sectors.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with revenue goals.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and service agreements.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain strong positioning.

Client Relationship Management (25%)

Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.

Conduct jobsite visits and client meetings to assess needs and recommend solutions.

Serve as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through contract execution.

Technical Consultation (20%)

Apply HVAC/mechanical expertise to design tailored maintenance and service plans.

Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and service teams for accurate scoping.

Stay current on technologies, efficiency innovations, and best practices.

Internal Collaboration (10%)

Partner with project managers, technicians, and administrative staff for flawless execution.

Participate in team meetings, pipeline reviews, and cross‑department planning.

Reporting & CRM Management (5%)

Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline activity.

Provide forecasts and strategic market insights to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

5+ years in HVAC, mechanical, or building systems sales.

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of HVAC/mechanical systems and controls.

Alternative Pathways:

Technicians transitioning into sales are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Analytical problem‑solving, consultative approach, and excellent communication.

Travel:

Local travel multiple times per week; occasional travel for training or leadership meetings.

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation:

Base salary + annual incentive bonus + commission plan —Depending on experience and qualifications: Base salary $100K; and up to $300K potential with commission.
