Senior or Staff Software Engineer Our client is building the next generation of

GenAI evaluation and observability infrastructure

— the critical layer enabling companies to ship safe, reliable, and production‑ready AI applications. Their platform is already powering some of the most advanced AI systems in the world, and they’re now expanding the core engineering team to shape the future of trustworthy AI.

If you’re energized by solving complex distributed systems challenges, working at the intersection of

data, ML, and developer tooling , and want to build the backbone that ensures AI behaves reliably in the real world — this is a rare opportunity to join an early, high‑impact team.

As an early engineer, you will design, architect, and scale the systems that will define how developers evaluate, monitor, and harden LLM‑powered applications at scale.

What You’ll Work On

Architect and build large‑scale distributed systems that power GenAI observability, evaluation, and performance analytics.

Develop high‑quality APIs and services that ingest, transform, and analyze massive volumes of model outputs and evaluation data.

Design and optimize storage layers.

Build reliable orchestration and messaging pipelines using Celery, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and related systems.

Own testing and QA infrastructure to ensure robustness and regression safety as the platform scales.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, user research, and data science to bring new observability and reliability features from concept → production.

Play a foundational role in shaping engineering culture, processes, and technical direction as an early member of the team.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years

in engineering - Strong TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SQL

Strong experience building production APIs.

Deep familiarity with distributed systems.

Hands‑on experience with databases and storage engines.

Demonstrated ability to work across the full product lifecycle with product managers, designers, researchers, and data scientists.

Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts for cross‑functional teams.

High‑output, high‑ownership mindset with a bias for action and comfort operating in an early‑stage, fast‑moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Experience building ML‑powered or ML‑adjacent products.

Experience developing agentic applications, LLM frameworks, or retrieval/agent pipelines.

Why This Role You’re joining at the moment when the industry is shifting from “what can my model do?” to “can I trust my model in production?” This company is building the answer.

If you want to build the infrastructure layer that becomes the standard for

AI reliability ,

evaluation , and

observability , this is the opportunity.
