About the Role The Solutions Engineering team at Sentry helps our largest customers embed Sentry into their applications and workflows, from integrating our SDK to ensuring alerts and issues reach the right people at the right time. Solutions Engineers work closely with customers to ensure optimal implementation and utilization, ensuring that:

Developers can effectively identify and resolve slowdowns and errors in their applications.

Development teams increase productivity and customer satisfaction.

In This Role You Will

Understand customers' pain points and objectives, translating those into implementation and onboarding plans that demonstrate business value.

Develop best practices, educational offerings, and content around error and performance management, open‑source projects, or Sentry (e.g., “how‑to” articles and videos).

Act as a trusted advisor and subject‑matter expert, helping customers instrument software engineering and monitoring best practices.

Provide workshop‑level interactions to drive maturity of use and broader adoption.

Work cross‑functionally to provide product feedback and align Sentry’s roadmap with time‑to‑value improvements.

Qualifications

3+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and working with customers.

Hands‑on experience with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, React, React Native, Mobile Native (iOS/Android).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong problem‑solving ability, knowledgeability, and a can‑do attitude.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000. A successful candidate’s actual base salary will be determined by factors such as location, experience, skills, and job‑related knowledge.
