Position Summary:
The General Manager plays a vital role and ensures smooth day-to-day operations of CAG programs, events & fundraising initiatives. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role focuses on executing and coordinating program & event logistics, stakeholder communications, and support staff oversight to keep adaptive golf services running efficiently and impactfully.
Key Priorities/Goals (2026):
Implement strategic imperatives in support of program expansion in CLT & MB
Operations - Streamline & document processes, event activities, etc.
Manage support staff - maintain Job descriptions, RACI, org chart, etc.
Communications - Execute monthly Newsletter, Volunteer e-mail, et. al.
Support ED with reporting and compliance - Board meetings, measuring impact, etc.
Key Responsibilities: Operations - Program Support & Logistics (50%)
Optimize and document all processes for programs and events.
Assess personnel and equipment needs for all clinics/programs and fundraising events.
Track adaptive golf equipment use and assist in organizing storage.
Oversight of Mission Support Coordinator - public calendar, program participant registration/invoicing, venue coordination, and event communications.
Oversight of tactical marketing content development and maintenance
Oversight of equipment readiness - maintenance, repair and cleanliness
Oversight of Brand Ambassador adaptive golf tournament event participation, content development, travel expenses, etc.
Personnel Management of Support Staff (20%)
Provide guidance and feedback to support staff to meet deadlines
Approve hours and retain all payroll files
Conduct weekly meetings with team members as needed.
Execute monthly team meetings - agenda, meeting
Update job descriptions, and organizational/RACI charts, as needed.
Communications & Outreach (20%)
Direct monthly Newsletter vendor to provide content, images and ensure timely delivery.
Execute monthly communications with volunteers for program/event support.
Coordinate volunteer registrations, background checks, and schedules.
Maintain partner relationships to ensure access to additional equipment as needed.
Reporting & Compliance Support (10%)
Ensure compliance of all board policies by all team members and contractors.
Manage participant waivers, vendor forms, and insurance paperwork.
Assist with financial oversight and operational controls to support fiscal responsibility.
Assist with preparing board meeting materials, reports and operational updates.
Assist with tracking program data, impact and success metrics.
e.g. Veteran participation for VA grant funding reports
Qualifications

Passion for adaptive sports and comfortable working with people with unique abilities.
Organized, self-starter able to juggle multiple priorities with minimal direction.
Competent with office software: Google Workspace; spreadsheets, docs, presentations
10+ years team leadership experience, prior General Manager or Director preferred
Marketing or multi-audience communications experience is highly desirable.
Non-profit background is desirable, but not required.
Experience with C-suite and/or board of directors is desirable.
Available to support occasional evening/weekend programs/events.
Willing to travel (~10%) as needed within the Carolinas.
Willing to complete a criminal background check & drug screening.
