Role : Techno‑Functional Lead – Veeva Systems
Description: You will be responsible for:
Techno-Functional Leadership
Function as the primary Veeva subject matter expert across Vault CRM, PromoMats, MedComms & MedInquiry
Translate complex business workflows into scalable configuration and technical solution design
Own solution blueprinting, technical feasibility analysis, data governance alignment, and in‑platform enhancements
Ensure configuration‑first implementation approach, optimizing for performance, upgrade compliance & technical debt reduction
Solution Architecture & Configuration Governance
Validate object models, lifecycles, workflows, MLR and medical inquiry processes, role models & metadata design
Govern release packaging, change control and audit‑ready configuration documentation
Drive content governance, claims/reference linkage, taxonomy and brand portal structures
Platform Integrations & Data Strategy
Lead integration architecture across CRM, MDM, MAP, MedInfo, Analytics & Field Systems using Veeva APIs / Vault Loader
Ensure error monitoring, job scheduling, sync governance & data integrity reporting
Support data migration strategies including mapping, cleansing, validation & reconciliations before/after go‑live
Testing, Validation & Go‑Live Assurance
Oversee SIT, E2E, regression & UAT cycles including user readiness assessments
Support validation documentation including URS/FRS/RTM and GxP compliance evidence
Approve go‑live checklists covering users, environments, workflows, SLAs, reporting and SOP adoption
Operations Excellence & Managed Services Governance
Govern L1–L3 triage with SLAs, severity management, RCA, backlog reduction and continuous improvement
Drive platform performance monitoring, enhancement prioritization and release impact readiness
Deliver monthly operational dashboards for ticket trends, SLA adherence and business value realization
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Provide strategic guidance to Commercial IT, Medical Affairs, Field Enablement & Compliance teams
Influence roadmap evolution using insight‑driven recommendations & platform best practices
Serve as escalation owner with Veeva Product Support and vendor teams
Training, Knowledge & Adoption
Lead train‑the‑trainer, SOP creation, and asset handover for long‑term adoption
Maintain centralized knowledge assets including configuration specs, SOPs & change logs
Ensure user proficiency for PromoMats MLR operations, MedComms governance, MedInquiry case processing & CRM workflows
Must Have Desired Profile (Key Skills):
Experience
10+ years in techno‑functional delivery roles for Veeva Vault platform implementations in Life Sciences
Must have multi‑module hands‑on experience: Vault CRM, PromoMats, MedComms & MedInquiry
Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end implementations & operational run models within regulated environments
Technical Expertise
Strong configuration knowledge across workflows, lifecycles, security, page layouts, dashboards & metadata
Practical experience using Veeva APIs, Vault Loader, Integration Monitoring, Data reconciliation
Strong understanding of GxP controls, validation practices & inspection‑readiness compliance
Commercial & Medical Domain Competency
CRM field engagement workflows, territory alignment, call capture & reporting
MLR compliance frameworks, claims/reference governance, content readiness for CRM
MedInfo case lifecycle, SLA tracking, structured response & escalation pathways
Leadership & Delivery Skills
Exceptional stakeholder management, risk navigation & executive communication.
Ability to lead distributed global teams across onshore–offshore delivery.
Strong analytical ability for SLA reporting, operational insights & scaling decisions.
Good to have
Veeva certifications (Vault Admin / CRM) strongly preferred.
Hands‑on experience with Veeva RIM, Align, or OpenData Network.
PMP, SAFe, or Agile credentials.
Exposure to AI‑led operations enhancements or workflow automation accelerators.
