Director, Amazon Operations
Full Time, Salaried Position.
4 Days / Week On Site in NYC Office.
Target Salary: 130k-160k (Based on Experience Level)
We are seeking an experienced ecommerce leader to oversee and scale our Amazon marketplace operations within the consumer goods industry. This full-time leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of driving profitable growth through Amazon’s 3P platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full P&L management for Amazon operations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, profitability, and budget adherence.
Develop and implement advertising, merchandising, and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and accelerate sales growth.
Manage day-to-day Amazon operations including inventory planning, customer experience, catalog and listing management, and account health monitoring.
Own forecasting processes for sales and demand, collaborating cross-functionally to align production and marketing plans.
Oversee successful new product launches and manage content optimization efforts such as product detail pages, imagery, and videos.
Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to derive actionable insights and continually refine operational and marketing strategies.
Coordinate closely with internal teams and external agencies to maintain operational excellence and achieve business goals.
Support sustainability initiatives in alignment with corporate climate and biodiversity goals as part of daily operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts with expertise in FBA and Amazon media platforms—experience in luxury consumer product sectors is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Excel including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Excellent leadership skills, comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into practical business improvements.
Demonstrated aptitude for cross-team collaboration and effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
Proactive, organized self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
