We’re partnering with a well‑established structural engineering firm in Brooklyn seeking a talented
Structural Engineer
to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of building projects across the five boroughs—ranging from new construction to rehabilitation and adaptive reuse.
Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for building projects using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems
Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
Conduct site visits and inspections to support design and construction phases
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure project quality and deadlines are met
Assist in reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
3–10 years of experience in building design and structural engineering
Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code and structural design standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software—RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, or similar
EIT or PE license preferred (or in progress)
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
