Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced UltraCare Liaison (UCL) to represent Ultragenyx’s emerging monoclonal antibody therapy for Osteogenesis Imperfecta. The UCL will run a territory-based business, drive sales results through innovative approaches, and engage key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as territory business owner, focusing on impact and territory analysis.

Develop and nurture relationships with HCPs, dietitians, pharmacists, nurses, and supportive staff.

Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, adjusting communication style to meet stakeholder needs.

Create a strategic territory business plan targeting academic centers and community sites.

Determine and implement a suitable travel schedule and call plan for optimal coverage.

Execute programs and high‑impact in‑services and educational opportunities.

Complete compliance trainings, product and disease‑state training, Veeva administration, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

8 years of experience, with 5+ years in healthcare/biotech, including 3 years of field‑based account management or sales; rare disease experience preferred.

Experience launching biopharma products.

Documented track record of field sales success.

Strategic business acumen and collaborative leadership with marketing, medical, clinical operations, and patient services.

Experience presenting clinical/scientific information.

Travel required (50-60% of time, overnight as needed).

Must live in the territory (San Francisco, CA; Reno, NV).

Pay Range

USD $156,900 – $193,800 per year, eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives.
