Network Deployment engineer – LAN/WAN

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba).

Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks for enterprise and data center environments.

Perform network upgrades, migrations, and expansions while ensuring minimal downtime.

Implement network security policies, access controls, and monitoring solutions.

Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal network configurations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate networking solutions with business applications.

Provide documentation, network diagrams, and knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Support network automation and scripting initiatives (Python, Ansible, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Min 4+ years of experience for L2 and 6+ years for L3 in network deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Aruba network devices.

Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, VXLAN, EVPN).

Proficiency in network security technologies (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, NAC solutions).

Hands‑on experience with wireless networks (Aruba ClearPass, Cisco Wireless Controllers, 802.1X authentication).

Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python, Terraform) is a plus.

Education Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics etc.) with CCNA & CCNP (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
