Job Description
As a Software Engineer on the Escalations team you'll be instrumental in keeping our enterprise clients happy and transacting billions of dollars monthly. This job will have you exploring all parts of the codebase to fix bugs within our Ruby on Rails payments platform.

Responsibilities
Develop code against Rails 7
Build reusable tasks to reduce the flow of work to engineering
Assist onboarding of new clients and help solve escalations as they arise
Be instrumental in building the next generation of internal tools and services
Optimize system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and solve complex engineering challenges in large-scale applications
Write specs for automated coverage of your code. (We have over 95% coverage)
Code review other developers' changes as they will review yours
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in software engineering using Ruby on Rails
Commitment to collaboration, respect, and support for team members across all levels and backgrounds
Able to explain technical challenges to non technical coworkers
Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural best practices
Good decision‑making skills, with the ability to balance business needs, technical excellence, and engineering velocity
Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
Additional Information Location:
Flexible/Remote (within the US)
