This Hospital is a brand new 300‑bed acute care, community‑based, not‑for‑profit hospital serving residents of the San Francisco Bay area. The hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non‑profit exceptional patient care.
The Surgical Tech II assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
Education
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience.
Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program.
Certification & Licensure
BLS‑Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
CST‑Certified Surgical Technologist.
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years of scrubbing experience.
Skills and Knowledge
Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
Requires communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.
$10,000 Sign‑On Bonus Included.
