Provides Information Systems Technology instruction focused in Network Systems Management and/ or Computer Programming Technology content to students enrolled in courses within the subject area. Provides curriculum development and assessment, care of facilities, equipment and other details pertinent to the program. Manages community outreach functions related to the program. May teach in the day, evening, on-campus (all campuses), as well as alternative delivery methods (i.e. internet, hybrid, etc.). This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus. Master's degree in computing related discipline; or Master's degree in a related discipline with a concentration in computing and a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Specialized knowledge of application development, web development, networking and computing concepts, applications, and operating systems is required. AI and Gaming skills are also desirable. Preferred applicants will show ability to keep abreast of new and emerging IT technology and the demonstrated ability to teach these skills, manage a classroom environment and participate productively in College committees. Applicants who hold current CompTIA certifications are preferred.
