Position Summary Supports an effective and efficient safety risk management program. Develops and implements a risk management framework. Analyzes risks and develops mitigation plans. Develops and maintains an asset risk register. Coordinates with the assets owners across the line of business to track operational and enterprise risks and the execution and effectiveness of risk mitigation activities.

Serves as a liaison with the enterprise risk management function to ensure alignment and common understanding of risks. Prepares analysis and reports for the line of business and the enterprise.

Disclosure PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.

The decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Pay Range

Annual Minimum: $136,000

Annual Midpoint: $184,000

Annual Maximum: $232,000

Job Responsibilities

Acts as a subject matter expert in area of field and applies extensive knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices. Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues. Participates in risk management forums at the enterprise level. Works closely with risk owners to identify, assess and analyze operational and enterprise risks.

Owns risk register or collaborates with leadership on its development and maintenance. Provides process support, advice, and recommendations to ensure effective risk management within the business.

Implements effective risk management framework across assigned line of business. Recognizes and communicates internal and external developments that may impact risks. Understands major areas of the client's business environment. Supports deployment of best practices in risk management across line of business.

Qualifications Minimum:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Ten (10) years of experience in risk management, utility operations, and/or related field

Desired:

Masters Degree or equivalent experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Risk Management certification

ASQ-American Society for Quality CQE-Certified Quality Engineer Certification

Safety Engineering certification
