Summary We are seeking a highly technical Salesforce DevOps Engineer at the Manager level to lead 2 FTEs and 7 Contractors. This role is focused on Copado-driven CI/CD, requiring deep expertise in release automation, governance, and scripting. You will architect and optimize Copado pipelines, leveraging Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) and python for automation, and mentor a team of engineers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Own and optimize Copado pipelines for Salesforce deployments across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Perf, Train, SBA).

Configure and manage Copado features: Commit, Promotions, Quality Gates, Back Promotions, Rollbacks.

Drive governance and enforce best practices for release management using Copado.

Develop automation scripts in Python and Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to integrate Copado with external tools, enhance deployment workflows, and support custom validations.

Automate test execution, reporting, and environment checks using CRT and Python-based utilities.

Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce DevOps engineers.

Define and enforce DevOps standards and governance across Salesforce projects.

Collaborate with architecture, development, and release management teams to align on delivery timelines and quality metrics.

Provide executive-level reporting on release quality, deployment success rates, and environment stability using Grafana.

Skills & Experience

Hands‑on experience with Copado for Salesforce CI/CD and release management.

Strong expertise in Copado Robotic Testing (CRT).

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.

5+ years in Salesforce DevOps or Release Engineering roles.

Experience with Git‑based workflows and branching strategies.

Familiarity with Salesforce DX.

Experience with large‑scale Salesforce implementation.

Experience with Salesforce CPQ.

2+ years in a managerial or team lead role within a DevOps or engineering organization.

Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and executive reporting.
