Approximate schedule: ~25 hours per week at $20.00 per hour. Job Position Description This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but are not limited to: Overall duties include removing debris and maintaining common space areas Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, emptying trash, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom maintenance Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Use proper PPE where required Clean all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby, and break room Place safety hazard signs in the building including “wet floor” signs as necessary Monitor, clean, service, and restock restrooms Respond immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crisis Qualifications and Physical Demands Constant up to 100% standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required On the job training provided to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn Flexible and able to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked environment Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude Be in uniform, dependable, and punctual Treat all coworkers and customers with courtesy and respect Disclaimer The statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work and are not exhaustive.
