Responsibilities
Schedule patients and staff and provide patient training as needed
Ensure all Home Therapies training follows DCI policies and procedures
Develop and implement standards of care in line with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, and DCI’s QAPI program
Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff with the nurse educator
Coordinate DCI, QAPI, and risk management program implementation with the quality and risk manager
Collaborate on patient care initiatives with the medical director, social worker, dietitian, charge nurses, technical managers, staff nurses, and equipment technicians
Integrate unit activities related to patient care, staff education, research projects, and unit expansions with the clinic operations director and medical director
Manage nursing, social work, dietitian, and technical staff supervision with the medical director
Fulfill supervisory responsibilities per DCI policies, procedures, and applicable laws
Work closely with the area operations director to identify operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and a desire to teach
Demonstrated clinical excellence
Strong leadership skills
Desire to collaborate with care teams
Problem‑solving ability
Education/Training
Preferred: Nurse Management experience
Dialysis experience a plus, but not required
Home Therapies experience a plus
Current MARN license
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
Accredited nursing degree
