Responsibilities
Architect data pipelines and AI/ML solutions.
Experience with Python and SQL for modeling, integration, governance and security.
Experience with cloud and platform design including databases, data lakes, or hybrid cloud platforms.
Collaboration with Data Mangers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to align architectural goals.
Reduce complexity in ETL and pipeline automation.
Understanding security data, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Requirements
Active Secret clearance (required).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
7+ years of professional experience in data architecture/data engineering or equivalent.
Experience with cloud integration such as Azure, AWS and other scalable warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and GitHub/GitLab version control.
Position will be hybrid, onsite in Arlington/Washington DC depending on meetings.
