Role Overview The Senior Sales Director will lead a national team of sales professionals focused on the SMB market. This is a high-performance, “hunter” role responsible for driving predictable and profitable sales growth across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Execute national sales strategies and plans
Assign territories and targets; ensure goals are met
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
Mentor and motivate a team of 50+ sales professionals
Drive new merchant acquisition and add-on revenue
Oversee Salesforce usage and ensure data accuracy
Deliver management reports including forecasts and productivity metrics
Cultivate referral partnerships to generate leads
Provide strategic guidance and remove obstacles in high-value deals
Offer thought leadership on market and industry trends
Required Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience
Proven success selling merchant acquiring solutions to SMBs
Experience leading large field sales teams
Consistent record of exceeding sales targets
Ability to travel 50%+ across the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
Experience building a high-performance sales culture
