Overview As a Product Manager, you will shape strategic product goals and partner with design and engineering to deliver impactful features for our DNS, Load Balancing and Load Balancer products. Your day-to-day includes pitching concepts to leadership, launching marketing plans, conducting user research, prototyping, iterating on specs, analyzing usage data and pairing with engineers on implementation.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision for your area and align it with the overall company vision.
Be an expert on the domain, market trends and evangelize the vision within the organization.
Represent the customer and build intimate relationships to bring the voice of customers into the product.
Manage the roadmap and make tough tactical prioritization decisions while maintaining trust with stakeholders.
Author use cases, prioritize requirements and translate feedback into a prioritized product backlog.
Collaborate across engineering and stakeholder teams to create alignment and win together.
Own the success metrics and track them throughout the product lifecycle.
Discover and develop new opportunities based on market and customer insights.
Qualifications
BS/MS in a technology or business field.
5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of discovering opportunities and delivering products.
Experience building, configuring or using Load Balancing and DNS products, especially with public and private traffic.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization.
Technical expertise with modern software development practices and full-time software delivery experience.
Customer and stakeholder empathy and channel multiple viewpoints.
Knowledge of Internet layers 3 through 7.
Bonus: RESTful API documentation, A/B testing, command-line API tools, scripting (Python, Go), web frameworks, pricing strategy.
Compensation
Bay Area: $202,000 – $246,000 annual
New York, Washington D.C., other US: $192,000 – $234,000 annual
Colorado: $170,000 – $208,000 annual
Equity Eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
