Multi-Shop Merchandise Director -Pinery CC and The Club at Pradera
The Buyer/Merchandiser is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing retail merchandise across both of our club locations to maximize sales, profitability, and member satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of retail trends, member demographics, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent brand standards, effective merchandising strategies, and optimal inventory performance across all clubs.
Experience Required 3-5 years of Merchandise Buyer experience at a private club or high-volume resort/public facility.
Essential Responsibilities Buying & Planning
Develop and execute seasonal buying plans aligned with club goals and member preferences.
Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and member feedback to forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies.
Manage open-to-buy budgets, ensuring profitability and minimal excess inventory.
Merchandising & Presentation
Create and maintain consistent merchandising standards across both clubs.
Develop floor layouts and visual displays that reflect brand identity and drive sales.
Partner with club managers to ensure proper product placement, signage, and promotional execution.
Conduct regular site visits to each club to evaluate performance and presentation.
Inventory Management
Oversee inventory levels and replenishment processes to ensure product availability.
Monitor stock performance and coordinate markdowns or transfers as needed.
Utilize POS and inventory systems to analyze trends and reduce shrinkage.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the operations and finance teams to meet revenue and margin goals.
Provide regular sales reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for improvement.
Train and support on-site staff in merchandising and product knowledge.
