These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.**Job Description****Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as an Electrical Engineering Manager!****What You’ll Do:*** Lead a team of electronics engineers, firmware engineers and technicians in developing electronics for infrared sensors.* Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, schematic & PCB design, component selection, board bring-up, and system level integration.* Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic debugging tools.* Work closely with cross functional engineering groups, mechanical, software, firmware, systems and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.* Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.* Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.**What You Need:*** Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of design experience and 2+ years of managing teams.* Proven track record of managing or working with small groups to bring electronics designs from concept to product.* Experienced with product development processes, conducted design reviews, and present program status a wide range of internal stake holders.* Proficient in high-speed digital design including multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR, Ethernet (MAC/PHY), SPI, I2C, and FPGAs (Xilinx 7-series, Ultrascale+, Vivado).* Competent with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes) and test automation.* Experienced in schematic capture, high-speed PCB design, and layout guidance.* Familiar in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for development and automation.* Background in aerospace, spaceflight, military, or cryogenic electronics design.* Excellent organizational and communication skills.* **U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.****What We Offer:*** Competitive Salary & Benefits Package* Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance from Day 1* Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays* 401(k) with Company Match* Employee Stock Purchase Plan* Educational Tuition Reimbursement* Fun Employee Events throughout the yearOur infrared sensors are “Everywhere You Look” – from the James Webb Space Telescope to climate change studies.
