As a Software Tester supporting the JPEO-CBRND, you will ensure the quality, functionality, and operational readiness of mission-critical software. You will collaborate across all SDLC phases, participate in testing engagements with customer T&E teams, and support system validation in operational environments, directly contributing to system readiness and mission success. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing functionalities. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing. Conduct operational testing and verify post-deployment functionality. Ensure quality gates are met for all releases. Develop and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Implement continuous testing strategies for microservices and containerized workloads. Use frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, or K6 for testing. Design and execute test plans for applications deployed on Kubernetes, validating configurations and deployments. Conduct data quality assessments and contribute to data governance and tooling improvements. Serve as a technical liaison, working with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and present test results. Support onsite testing, including planning, executing, documenting DT events, and providing detailed reports. Material & Equipment Windows and Linux systems, basic office materials, lab environments with representative hardware and sensors. Working Environment Full-time office work with at least 50% stationary position. Operate standard office equipment. Physical Activities Lift up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, use power tools. Qualifications Education / Certifications: Bachelors in CS, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields. Preferred: Masters degree, certifications like CDP, Security+, CEH. Must Have:

Active Secret Clearance. Experience: 2-4 years in software testing or QA. Experience with containerized environments, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, API testing, and cloud platforms. Strong communication skills.
