Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced Software DevOps Engineer to join their team in New York, NY! Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes. Manage and optimize GitHub repositories for version control and collaboration. Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. Containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operational tasks. Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance our DevOps processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub. Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies like Docker. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Certification in DevOps or relevant technologies is a plus. Seniority level
